June Okal is the Senior Manager, Global Stakeholder Engagement at the Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) responsible for Eastern and Southern Africa. She has extensive experience providing legal and policy support to global businesses across Sub-Saharan Africa, including Meta (formerly Facebook), American Tower Corporation, and Google.
The Coalition for Digital Africa is an initiative that aims to bring together stakeholders to expand the Internet in Africa and seeks to expand the reach of information and knowledge while avoiding duplication of efforts.
The Coalition promotes innovation and encourages entrepreneurial efforts aimed at strengthening Internet infrastructure to support the development of Africa’s digital economy.
