Dhashina is currently a Senior Specialist for Data Privacy and Protection at NTT Data Inc. She holds an LLB degree from UKZN Pietermaritzburg and is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. Dhashina is a Certified Information Privacy Manager with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and has also obtained her Ethics Officer designation in 2022 from the Ethics Institute of SA.
Prior to NTT, Dhashina worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte within the Regulatory Risk team where she acquired experience in advising a variety of public and private sector clients on their regulatory obligations and later, a specialty in data privacy.
Dhashina has a keen interest in the ethical use of personal data and hopes to explore individual's rights within different contexts, industries and sectors, with a view to utilize speaking engagements and conferences to network with legal, tech and other experts in diverse fields.
